About Our Practice
Millions of women are affected by loss of bladder control and “dropping” of their pelvic organs. Sadly, many women avoid discussing these problems with their doctor(s) - unaware that safe and effective treatments are available, they suffer for years allowing these problems to limit their activities and adversely affect their quality of life. The Women’s Center for Incontinence and Pelvic Surgery was started by Dr. Mark Preston to help women with these problems. We have special expertise in treating:

• Urinary incontinence
• Overactive bladder
• Uterine and vaginal prolapse (eg “dropped” bladder or uterus)
• Genital tract fistula
• Complications from prior surgery
• Mesh complications
• Fecal incontinence

At The Women’s Center for Incontinence and Pelvic Surgery we are dedicated to the expert evaluation and management of female pelvic organ prolapse and bladder control problems. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest level of knowledge and technical skill which we can bring to bear in addressing each patient’s problem. Even more importantly, we pride ourselves on our empathy, caring bedside manner and ability to listen to our patients so that we can tailor our treatment to each patient’s particular needs and goals.

You may not have heard of the term “urogynecology”. Over the past 10 to 20 years, Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery has developed as a sub-specialty within the field of gynecology. Urogynecologists undergo additional years of advanced training in the evaluation and management of female pelvic support and bladder problems providing a higher level of expertise and care for you, the patient.
